Frame it
Drag the box over the exact area that matters—a doorway, a package, a pet bed, or a pot on the stove.
Your spare iPhone just grew eyes
Point your camera at what matters, draw a box, and describe the moment. SnitchCam watches for motion and alerts you only when your condition is true.
One box. One condition. Zero staring.
Mount the phone somewhere stable, keep SnitchCam open, and let it do the watching.
Drag the box over the exact area that matters—a doorway, a package, a pet bed, or a pot on the stove.
Type the condition in plain language: “the door is open,” “a cat is here,” or “the pot is boiling over.”
A countdown gives you time to step out. When local motion trips the box, AI checks whether your condition is true.
What are we watching?
“A package is by the door.”
“The cat jumped on the counter.”
“The garage door is open.”
“The pot is starting to boil over.”
Your watch. Your rules.
Hear it through AirPods, play a chime, feel a vibration, or receive a local notification. Mix and match the channels that make sense for the moment.
Private by design
SnitchCam is built to send less. Motion detection runs on-device. Only after motion is detected does the app send the small crop inside your box, together with your condition, for an AI yes/no check.
Continuous motion detection happens on your iPhone without an AI call.
The selected box—not the full camera view—is sent when an AI check is triggered.
Scan thumbnails and short replay clips are saved on your device for your history.
Prepaid scans. Hard limits.
Motion detection is free. Each completed AI check uses one prepaid scan. Adjust sensitivity, set the minimum interval, choose a session budget, or stop after the first match.
Choose how much movement is enough to trigger a possible scan.
Control how frequently the app may send another AI check.
Automatically pause the session after the maximum number of scans you set.
Important
SnitchCam can miss events, misclassify images, or deliver alerts late. It is not a security alarm, emergency service, medical device, life-safety system, or substitute for supervision. Use it only where recording is lawful and everyone’s privacy rights are respected.
Quick answers
No. iOS camera access is foreground-only. SnitchCam must remain open, and the phone should stay mounted and plugged in during longer sessions.
No. Motion detection runs locally. After motion, one crop of the selected box is sent for the AI check.
A moving phone looks like motion everywhere. Keeping it stable improves results and prevents unnecessary scans.
Yes. AI may produce false positives and false negatives. Never rely on SnitchCam for emergencies, security, health, safety, or supervision.
