Double Out is a scorekeeping tool. You enter the throws, choose your rules and remain responsible for checking the score. Core scoring is free; optional Pro features are available through Apple in-app purchases.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to Double Out — Darts Scorekeeper and its related support pages, provided by Massive Interface LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are not legally able to agree, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
2. App license and Apple’s terms
The app is licensed, not sold. Your license to use the iOS app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that license for our services and support; they do not replace it. Apple’s applicable terms govern App Store billing and transactions. Massive Interface LLC, rather than Apple, provides support for Double Out.
3. Scoring and practice
Double Out supports X01, Cricket and Around the Clock, with configurable rules and local player profiles. Scores and suggestions depend on your input and the selected rules. Review entries and use Undo when needed. Checkout suggestions and practice opponents are aids, not guarantees of results or official tournament adjudication.
Use darts safely, keep others clear of the throwing area and supervise inexperienced players. The app does not monitor your surroundings or replace appropriate supervision.
4. Free features and Pro
Core scoring, match history and your first two saved player profiles are free. Pro adds an adjustable X01 practice opponent, career insights and unlimited saved profiles. The app shows the features, price, currency and billing terms for each available offer before purchase.
Pro is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The monthly subscription renews unless canceled through your Apple Account. A lifetime purchase is a non-recurring purchase of Pro access for the supported life of Double Out; it is not a promise that the app, any particular operating system, or third-party services will remain available forever. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Manage or cancel subscriptions through Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore purchases in Double Out to restore eligible purchases made with the same Apple Account. Apple handles payment processing and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
5. Your data and privacy
You retain your rights in the player information and scores you enter. Your scorebook is stored on your device and is not synchronized to a Double Out account. We cannot recover a lost scorebook from our servers. Removing the app or changing devices can affect local data; manage device backups as appropriate.
The privacy policy explains optional analytics, purchase verification and support information. You can disable usage analytics in Settings → Privacy without losing core scoring or paid entitlements.
6. Acceptable use and ownership
Use the app lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, bypass purchase or security controls, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to access information you are not entitled to access. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
The app’s software, branding and design belong to Massive Interface LLC or its licensors. These terms grant no ownership rights in those materials. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.
7. Availability, updates and third parties
We may update the app, change features or discontinue support, subject to applicable law and your purchase rights. Some features require supported hardware, operating systems or an internet connection. Apple, RevenueCat and Google provide services described in the privacy policy; their availability can affect the app. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties that it will meet every requirement or that every score, suggestion or statistic will be error-free. Applicable statutory warranties and consumer remedies are not excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including loss of local data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or other protected claims.
9. Ending use and changes to these terms
You may stop using Double Out at any time. Cancel any subscription separately through Apple. We may restrict access where necessary to address unlawful use or serious violations of these terms, subject to applicable law.
We will post updated terms here with a new date and provide additional notice when required. Changes do not remove non-waivable rights or retroactively alter completed transactions.
10. Contact and support
For questions about the app, these terms or a purchase, email info@massiveinterface.com or visit the Double Out support section. Include your app version and device model when reporting a technical issue.
