Your named player profiles and saved scorebook stay on your device. Optional Google Analytics receives app activity and gameplay measurements, but not player names or the scorebook file. Apple and RevenueCat handle purchases and Pro access. No account is required.
1. Who we are
Double Out — Darts Scorekeeper is provided by Massive Interface LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy covers the app and its Double Out landing, support and legal pages on massiveinterface.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@massiveinterface.com. We are responsible for the personal information we process to operate these services.
2. What stays on your device
Player names, player profiles, your saved scorebook, match history, settings and onboarding progress are stored locally. Double Out does not upload the named scorebook to an account or synchronize it between devices. Device backups managed by Apple or by you may include app data according to your backup settings.
You can delete matches and player profiles using the app’s controls. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app data from that device. Backups are managed separately. We cannot recover your local scorebook from our servers.
3. Optional usage and gameplay analytics
Double Out uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features work well and improve the app. Analytics is enabled by default in production builds on physical devices, unless you turn it off. It is disabled in Debug builds and simulators.
When enabled, analytics can include:
- Onboarding choices, screen views, settings changes and use of app features.
- Game modes and rules, player counts, dart values, scores, turns, averages, checkouts, busts and match results. Player slots are numbered; player names are not sent.
- Paywall views, selected plans, purchase and restore outcomes, product identifiers, currency and purchase value.
- An app-instance identifier and technical information such as app version, device/operating-system information, language and approximate location derived by the provider from network information.
These records use pseudonymous identifiers; they should not be treated as completely anonymous data. We do not send player names, match identifiers, the saved scorebook file, or free-text player input to Google Analytics. The app disables advertising-identifier collection and ad-personalization signals and does not display advertising.
Your control: open Settings → Privacy and turn off Share anonymous usage analytics. Core scoring and Pro access continue to work. Turning it off disables collection and resets the analytics data and identifier stored locally by the SDK; it does not automatically erase historical records already processed by the provider. Contact us about a deletion request.
4. Purchases and Pro access
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat verifies purchases and restores Pro entitlements using purchase receipts or transaction information, product and entitlement status, an anonymous app-user identifier, and associated technical information. We use this information to provide paid features, support purchases and understand purchase activity. We do not receive your payment-card details or require you to provide an email address to purchase Pro. Turning off usage analytics does not turn off the purchase verification needed for Pro.
5. Support and website visits
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message or attachments. We use that information to answer your request and investigate problems. Please send only information needed for support.
These Double Out web pages do not embed analytics scripts, advertising trackers or cookie-based measurement. Render, our website host, and its delivery infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and time of access to deliver and secure the pages. Other pages on massiveinterface.com may have their own analytics.
6. How information is used and shared
We use information to operate the app, verify purchases, respond to support requests, understand product usage, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Service providers receive information needed for those tasks:
- Apple: app distribution, billing and transaction processing. Apple privacy information.
- RevenueCat: purchase verification and entitlement management. RevenueCat’s app data disclosures.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: optional app analytics. Firebase privacy information and Google’s privacy policy.
- Render: hosting these web pages. Render’s privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.
7. Retention, security and international processing
Local game data remains until removed from your device. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and maintain relevant records. Analytics is subject to the configured Google Analytics retention settings; purchase records may remain with Apple and RevenueCat as needed to maintain entitlements, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements. Deleting the app does not by itself delete provider-held records or cancel purchases.
We use reasonable safeguards and encrypted connections for supported service communications, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate, subject to their applicable data-processing terms and legal transfer requirements.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. We process information to provide the services you request, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as support, security and product improvement where permitted; consent applies where required by law.
Email info@massiveinterface.com to exercise applicable rights. We may need information to verify the request and locate relevant records. Because no account is required, we may be unable to associate pseudonymous analytics with you from an email address alone. We will explain any limitation and respond as required by applicable law.
9. Children
Double Out is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact
We will update the date on this page when this policy changes and provide additional notice when required by law. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@massiveinterface.com.
